It was an awesome outreach on May 26, 2019 at Orile Community in Lagos. 317 households were recorded to have recycled their waste. We hauled in over 3.5 Tonnes of recyclables most of which were plastic bottles, plastic films, pure water sachets and cartons. The environment was charged, kids showed appreciation with dancing and miming.
Special thanks to all The Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance member companies who provided their products as incentives to reward Recyclers. We also thank Ms. Ibinabo Fiberesime an environmental activist and National Director of Miss Earth Nigeria for her presence which spurred a lot of attraction to environmental sustainability and need for citizens to pursue a circular economy.
