Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance(FBRA) & Lagos State Waterways Authority(LASWA) Partners with RecyclePoints for Lagos Waterway Cleanup Project

The Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance(FBRA) recently launched its Waterways Cleanup Project with the donation of a fleet of Six Boats to the LAWMA Marine Waste Unit to facilitate the cleanup of Lagos Waterways.

Eulogies poured in from all the stakeholders at the kickoff ceremony to include the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources Mrs. Aderonke Kadara-Odeneye represented by Mrs. Oluyomi Collins, the GM of Lagos State Waterways Authority(LASWA) Mr. Oluwadamilola Emmanuel, the Vice Chairman of FBRA Mr. Kunle Olusuyi and FBRA Technical Lead Mrs. Nwamaka Onyemelukwe.

Speaking on receiving the donated boats, the Managing Director/CEO of LAWMA, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegasin repatriated LAWMA’s commitment to cleaner Waterways for safe transportation.
RecyclePoints is the official recyclable waste collection partner for the FBRA Waterways Cleanup Project and tons of marine waste to include Plastics and Water Hyacinth are daily recovery and recycled.
